Family Therapy / Parent Coaching
Our family therapy program is intended to meet the specific needs of families in crisis.
From experience in a residential treatment setting, we have seen a need for more education and coaching for parents before they send their children to a treatment center and after they return home. In some cases, more intense family work can help prevent a costly residential program. In other cases, it may help the gains made in residential settings take hold upon the child’s return home.
The first month of the Family Therapy Program includes in-home, phone, and in-office sessions (see below) at $1,000. If you would like to continue with parent coaching after this first month, there will be a base cost ($200), and you can add therapy services à la cart as needed.
Family Therapy Program 1st month:
- Initial 2-hr in-home session (with entire family if possible)–if not in Utah County, price will increase due to travel time and expenses
- Includes assessment, education, formulation of targeted plan
- Individualized family transformation plan
- 3 50-min in-office family sessions (or teletherapy if not local)
- Targeted phone coaching as needed
Parent coaching for each additional month includes:
- One 50-min session in office
- As needed phone calls and follow-ups
- Two 15-min targeted follow-up sessions by phone
À la cart services that can be added to parent coaching services:
- 50-min in-home visit (family session/education/assessment/follow-up) – $175 if in Utah County.
- Additional 50-min (individual, marriage, or family) session in-office – $125/ session
- Scheduled 15-minute coaching calls – $25 each
- Out of county or out of state visits can be discussed as well and priced depending on time spent and travel expenses.
